As cleaners protest for rights, 7 trains leave Pune without being cleaned

Bhosale, a coach cleaner for 8 years, allege that they are not paid the minimum wage, and face severe health issues due to the unsanitary environment. Bhosale attempted suicide by consuming poison in August after two months of unpaid wages and verbal abuse by the contractor. The Indian Express found the cleaning facility to be in a dilapidated condition with broken access ways and exposed electrical wires.

kar rahe hain ya de hi nahi rahe hain, saath hi kaam karne ki jagah bhi unsafe hai. Mukesh Bhosale, 8 saal se coach cleaner hain, unhone aur dusre workers ne kaha ki unhe minimum wage nahi mil raha hai aur unhe gande environment ki wajah se serious health issues ho rahe hain. August mein, Bhosale ne contractor se 2 mahine se salary na milne aur gaaliyan khane ke baad poison peeke suicide ki koshish ki. The Indian Express ne safai facility ko dekha aur pata chala ki wo bahut kharab halat mein hai, broken access ways aur exposed electrical wires hain.
