from New Bongaigaon to Azara via Goalpara operational as a double-line section, improving freight and passenger traffic capacity. The project is being completed section by section, with previous sections between Bamunigaon and Chhaygaon, Dhupdhara and Bamunigaon, Mirza and Azara, and Dudhnai and Dhupdhara already commissioned. Upon completion of the entire project, connectivity in Northeast India will significantly improve, benefiting Meghalaya and other areas.

New Bongaigaon se Azara tak Goalpara ke raaste double-line section operational ho gaya hai, jisse freight aur passenger traffic ki capacity badh gayi hai. Project ko section-by-section complete kiya ja raha hai, aur pehle ke sections Bamunigaon aur Chhaygaon, Dhupdhara aur Bamunigaon, Mirza aur Azara, and Dudhnai aur Dhupdhara ke beech pehle hi commission ho chuke hain.
