As this is the initiative by SWR, they should increase the speed by removing slack in TT. From BGK side, it should reach YPR by 0800, SBC by 0820/0830 and MYS by 1100. From MYS side, it can leave by 1420, just behind Shatabdi and reach SBC by 1655 and leave by 1710, YPR 1725, YNK 1745, DBP 1800.

Ateast now kurla exp and udyan exp.will be speeded up saving 1-2 hrs in dmm-ynk stretch
which extends to 174 km, will directly benefit travellers due to the stop at Yelahanaka. Passengers travelling on numerous trains along this route including the Kurla Express, Udyan Express, Sampark Kranti Express, Kacheguda Express, Gorakhpur Express, Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Chennai Express stand to benefit from it. “Most trains bound to northern parts of the country pass via this route,” an official said. Distance between SBC and DMM is 189 kms, but fare calculation is with 235 kms. I suppose this started when gauge conversion was done two decades back.
So actual distance from sbc to GTL would be less than 300 kms and our legendary udyan takes 9 hours!!!.
There should be something unexplainable which prevents railways to delay this train.
