There are also the issues of many zones unable to receive trains earlier due to pf constraints, pit line issues/stabling line and so on. A good example immediately that comes to mind is 11013 LTT-CBE. It can easily be received at 4am at CBE. But because of its pf turnaround, it ends up blocking a pf. There are other terminating trains like Cheran Exp and many other trains towards Kerala around that time. They have given so much slack before entering Bangalore and then from Bangalore onwards that it is finally received after all trains leave CBE.
