panels, further reducing electricity bills in the coming years. NWR is committed to environmental protection and sustainable practices. A 1000 kilowatt rooftop solar plant is scheduled to be operational at various stations in the Bikaner division within the next 45 days. A 250 kilowatt solar rooftop plant is also being implemented at the RPF Barracks running room in Hisar, and another 630 kilowatt solar plant is being installed at 15 stations in the Bikaner division under the Amrit Bharat scheme. The NWR's Bikaner workshop, which began operating a 500 kilowatt solar panel in February, generates approximately 65,000 units of electricity per month, exporting about 11,000 units to power companies after meeting its internal needs. The workshop has achieved significant savings in electricity bills through rooftop solar panels. Other departments are taking inspiration from the railway's initiatives.

North Western Railway (NWR) apna 172 railway stations pe 10 megawatts ke solar panels laga ke saal bhar mein 1 crore units electricity bana raha hai. Unka lakshya hai ki 2030 tak wo khud ki electricity generate kar sake. NWR abhi 27 megawatts ke aur solar panels lagaane ki planning kar...
