The Minister also highlighted other railway projects in Puducherry, including the ₹93 crore redevelopment of Puducherry railway station and similar work planned for Karaikal and Mahe. He added that the electrification of railway lines in the UT has been completed and work on a railway overbridge near AFT ground is set to begin after August. New train connections for Puducherry are also under consideration. The Minister praised the Puducherry government for achieving 100% target under Jal Jeevan Mission and said the Central government is committed to the overall development of the Union Territory. He plans to return in two months for further discussions on railway and water projects.

Minister ne Puducherry me chalu railway projects ke baare me bhi bataya, jisme ₹93 crore me Puducherry railway station ka redevelopment kaam aur Karaikal and Mahe me aise hi kaam karne ka plan hai.
