The Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) is planning a partial launch of the 19km Yellow line by late 2024 or early 2025 due to delays in train deliveries. Agrahara, Central Silk Board, BTM Layout, and Jayadeva Hospital. The full launch is dependent on receiving more trains from Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL), who are contracted to supply the metro trains. Delays have been attributed to several factors including a switch to stainless steel coaches, quality control issues, and disruptions from the Indo-China border tensions and the Make in India initiative. Trial runs with a prototype train are ongoing and being overseen by the Research, Design, and Standards Organisation (RDSO).

service start ho jaayegi. Initially, Infosys Foundation Konappana Agrahara, Central Silk Board, BTM Layout, aur Jayadeva Hospital jaise stations par three trains chalengi, har 30 minutes mein ek. Full launch ke liye Kolkata ki Titagarh Rail Systems Limited (TRSL) se zyada trains aani zaroori hain. Delays ki wajah stainless steel coaches mein badlaav, quality control issues, Indo-China border tension, aur Make in India initiative ke local manufacturing requirements hain. Iske saath hi, heating, ventilation, aur air conditioning systems mein dikkat aur propulsion components ke supply mein der bhi hai. Is beech, ek prototype train se trial runs ho rahi hain, jinki supervision Research, Design, and Standards Organisation (RDSO) kar raha hai.
