Let me tell you that the CSTC (Calcutta State Transport Corporation) has restarted a bus service on Route No: S-45 after a hiatus of many months. Some days back I had traveled by it and it was a MIDI Bus (White in color with blue band) from Taratala Depot. The response of this bus during evenings from the commuters has been immensely positive. It starts from KOAA Stn and terminates at Behala Sakuntala Park (A South West Calcutta Neighborhood). But I must admit that the AshLey Jan Bus on this route had it's LED Route Display boards off and the windows, yellow support rods, etc. in the vehicle were full of dust. I feel that North Calcutta's Paikpara CSTC Depot isn't maintaining it's fleet properly.

This bus travels from KOAA Stn to Behala S. Park via Maniktala - Sealdah - Esplanade - Chowrangi Flyover - Jeevendeep (Near Park Street) - Exide - PTS - Alipore Zoo (Near Taj Bengal) - Ekbalpore - Majerhat - Behala Chowrasta (Xing) - Bakultala. At times, this bus travels from Alipore Zoo towards Majerhat via Woodlands Hospital - Alipore Road - Siddarth Building alignment.
