for Delhi. Interestingly, the Himachal Express was also the first train to depart from Una Railway Station when it was inaugurated 33 years ago in 1991. The second platform was bustling with passengers, particularly those arriving from New Delhi on the Jan Shatabdi train. Earlier on Tuesday, railway board staff were present throughout the day to inspect the loop line, including the electrical wiring and tracks. Technical staff and workers monitored safety measures using a wagon car. The Jan Shatabdi train from New Delhi arrived 26 minutes late at 9:42 PM. Passengers disembarked onto the second platform and used the foot-over bridge to reach Una Railway Station. The Himachal Express train departed for Delhi at 9:53 PM, allowing passengers to experience traveling from the newly built platform.

Due to ongoing construction of a second loopline at Una Railway Station, all passenger trains passing through Una are cancelled until September 19th. The DEMU train between Una and Haridwar will terminate at Kiratpur Sahib.
