Vande Bharat (VB) trains turn out to be the contemporary version of Shatabdi trains meant for premium intercity travel, and VMs being unreserved AC trains turn out to be nothing but modern AC MEMUs?
What about the most widely accepted form of reserved intercity and janshatabdi trains? No contemporary trainset versions for them?

I really do not wanna "force" reservations, but the unreserved pax are going to create a ruckus you know that. Yea something might fit in the global context, but managing the most populous nation with a very poor per capita income is going to ask for additional inputs.
Certainly separate CC coaches need to be added, which should either be not interconnected, or secured with gates that only RPF and TT have access to.

Railway ka ACkaran to ho raha, but log AC travel afford kar payenge ye bahut bada question mark hai.
Agle 15-20 saal me train bus aur car wo bhi without AC aam admi ki kalpna se hi bahar ho jayenge, roadways me bhari investment karke Railways aur Roadways ko ek level par laya ja rha hai, Renewable source of energy par bhi kaafi kaam kiya ja rha hai, EV ne thoda sa aur technology advancement aa jaye to kafi kuch badal jayega 15-20 saalo me,
You have written solution to your question in the next comment . The ticket price will gonna rise … that will keep ruckus creators away !!
This is not vande bharat rake... it looks like it, but it is more of MEMU.... more like AC local of mumbai suburban... this type of train must run between ADI and stations less than 100 km of distance.... but, for political reasons, it started for long 370 around km.... ADI BHUJ route deserves seperate Vande bharat train....
